'Murica CNC is a non profit organization* focused on providing the highest quality machining tools at the lowest price. 'Murica CNC was founded by enthusiastic makers who love their craft and want to promote their love for science and engineering. In today's world of overreliance on digital tools and assets, there is a need to go back to the beauty of the physical, and 'Murica CNC wants to make it as easy as possible for hobbyist and businesses to accomplish just that.
In this day and age of corporate greed and bottom line obsession, 'Murica CNC prioritizes people above everything else. We do our best for our employees so they can do their best for you, the client.
In order to provide the best prices we do not make any profit with our sales. But we don't just stop there with our cost saving measures: We also eliminate every possible source of unnecessary expenditures at the design level. For example: with traditional (subtractive) manufacturing, circular and curved features are always more expensive to manufacture than straight lines; therefore, we eliminate as many curvatures as possible from our designs. Another example is with material type and quantity selections: pound for pound, cast iron has superior vibration absorbing characteristics than steel or granite composites, but its more expensive to manufacture; however, by designing a machine that utilizes more steel composite than the equivalent cast iron we achieve better results at a lower cost. But despite all of our cost savings measures, we offer our employees one of the most competitive salaries and benefits in the industry. We want to make sure that when our employees come through the door, they do not have to worry about personal problems such as anxiety about their bills or healthcare, allowing them to focus on the task at hand, and to create the best products on the market.
